Fire away at home website center

I bought this program last week without any research in advance, finding that this is absolutely useless and scam. I upgraded to a Pro account, getting 10 websites and posted them to several top search engines. The statistics showed that over 50 visitors viewed my website, gathering at least 500 visitors for browsing in recent four days; but no sales at all.

I searched all the eBooks provided by Home Website Center at Amazon, finding that these selling prices in Amazon are ten times lower than that suggested by Home website center. Therefore, it is impossible to sell any eBooks according to homewebsitecenter’s suggestion price. I decreased the price, even lower than Amazon, but also no selling. So, I am sure homewebsitecenter is a real, real scam; may be one of the top 10 online scams.

Furthermore, I raised questions to customer service and never got reply, only received many, many promotional emails.

I decided to ask for a refund even though it will not be returned.

What is more, I already canceled my visa card at once avoiding further scam by Home Website Center. Maybe they will sell my card information to fraud.

Suggesting that you don’t take this program seriously, it’s just pulling your leg and scam.

Research First!

I fell for the Home Website Center in a moment of weakness, thinking it would help me earn a bit of extra cash. Anyone else just get a bit desperate at times? Their Ad appears at the top of a well known social networking page – who I intend to contact and suggest that they remove it. Their offer suggests you pay only £9.97 for the route to success; the site benefiting from your generosity – quickcashkit!? I should have woken up there and then… there was no suggestion that it would cost any more than that. Eager to fritter away some more of my cash, I let myself be tempted into a half price VIP Membership for a further £17.95. Then you’re informed that you’re well on the way to riches – well after they tell you that by going PRO you will propel yourself into stratospheric mega riches! Just another £89.95. Great that’s £117.87 + VAT – I’m starting to rouse from my sleep now! When I read that I could Supercharge my sites for a further total of (this bits in dollars) 144.65; I sat bolt upright now wide awake!

Then I started googling (valuable new addition to the Oxford English Dictionary that is) and realized the extent of my naivety (greed?).

WHY didn’t I research first? This was only 2 days ago. I am now taking steps to recover my money – thanks but no thanks.

There are thousands of ‘honey-trap’ sites out there just waiting to let us throw them money for their fantastic unique product – SCAM. You just have to learn to spot them BEFORE parting with any cash.

Total Scam

Are you kidding me? I have 2 sites… over 25,000 hits… so their tracking tells me… not 1 sale… not 1. The products are pathetic. They host the sites so there is no way to even verify if the hits they claim I’m getting are even real, which I seriously doubt. I am very computer savvy and couldn’t tell you how to even find my site… Please report them to your state attorney’s office so they can be properly held accountable and prosecuted for fraud… It only cost me $10 and I can live with that… but seeing them prosecuted would be worth 10x that… Now that’s value… Please don’t waste your money!

Reformat Windows XP Computer

Reformatting is the process where the Hard Disk is wiped clean. This is normally done when a machine has become seriously compromised, or the Operating System has a serious flaw and needs to be re-installed.

Before reformatting your computer I strongly recommend that you:

1. Back-up all your files
2. Make a list of programs you want to install back
3. Make sure that you have the XP CD installer
4. And that your computer has a CD/DVD drive
5. Disconnect network connections

Keep in mind that these tutorials will clean-out/delete/erase your current OS/Operating System and the drive it’s on, and will create a brand new system. Because this is a new system your old files and programs do no longer exist.

Follow these simple steps to reformat your computer:

Step1. Insert Windows XP CD into your CD/DVD drive.

Step2. Make sure that your computer is set to Boot to CD. With the Windows XP CD in the CD-ROM drive, save your BIOS settings and exit.

Step3. “Press Any Key to Boot from CD”.

Step 4. After installing the necessary setup files, Windows XP will display your partitions. Delete any existing partitions by selecting the desired partition with the arrow keys, press D to delete and then L to confirm the deletion.

Step 5. You should now have only one option, “Un-partitioned Space”. Press Enter to install Windows XP to the un-partitioned space.

Step 6. When asked how you would like to format the partition, select “Format using the NTFS file system”.

Step 7. After the partition is formatted, Windows XP will begin installation. The computer will reboot/restart. While the computer is rebooting, please do not touch any keys.

Step 8. Enter your product key. If you purchased Windows XP from the IMU Bookstore, the product key will be located on the back of the sleeve your CD came in. If you are reformatting using a Windows XP CD that came with your computer, the product key may be located on a sticker somewhere on your computer case.

Step 9. When asked for Network Settings, choose “Typical Settings”.

Step 10. Windows XP will now complete installation. Upon completion you will need to re-install the drivers for your hardware (Modem, Sound, Video, etc). Many PC companies such as Dell, Gateway, and HP will include a “Driver Installation CD” with the computer. Simply insert the CD and follow the instructions. Otherwise, you can download current drivers from many manufacturer’s support web sites.

Step 11. Next turn on the Internet Connection Firewall. Instructions to turn on the Internet Connection Firewall can be found here.

Step 12. Reconnect your computer to the Network.

Step 13. Run Windows Update by opening Internet Explorer, then clicking on Tools -> Windows Update. Follow the on-screen instructions for installing critical updates.

Step 14. Restart your computer.

Reformat process should be done. You’ll just need to install again all the programs and software you need.
